Japanese govt phases out floppies

Anyone still have or use any floppy disks? I know that they failed regularly and I probably have rose-tinted glasses but part of me does wonder how the uptime of a typical floppy disk compares with M365…

My partner recently inherited an old DOS Lemmings floppy. I have a machine with a drive but actually trying it out has somehow not yet made it to the top of the priority list.

I bought a Sony floppy drive camera a while ago and was using it for experimental photography. I needed floppy disks and a floppy disk drive of course. So I guess I’m still using them on and off.
